The accommodation at the Sawmills was lovely, well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. the location was great, with two bars within walking distance. there were plenty of things to do close by, such as golfing and racing. the short drive to a Sainsbury's supermarket made it convenient to get food and supplies.
One negative aspect was that the house had a damp smell, which was masked by air fresheners.

The location was great, making it easy to walk to nearby attractions and amenities. We also appreciated the convenience of having a supermarket within walking distance. the property had everything we needed for our romantic escape, from comfortable furnishings to nice quality bedding and towels.
There were a few aspects of our stay that left us disappointed. the cups in our room were chipped, cracked, and stained, which made us question the cleanliness of the rest of the property.

I recently stayed at a charming accommodation in the heart of Carlisle. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the facilities were top-notch. The kitchen/living area was spacious and well-appointed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of blackout curtains in the single bedrooms and some issues with the water and heating timers, overall, I had a pleasant stay.

Felt so much at home, nothing was too much trouble.

Great location - close to attractions and easy access to the city center. the parking facilities were convenient, and we didn't need to use our car once we arrived. the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of seating for all of us.
The check-in process was a bit demanding, requiring the submission of photo ID and pre-authorization of a significant amount on the credit card. the property could use some updating and redecorating, particularly in the bathrooms.

We had a pleasant stay in a good location. The hotel was close to attractions and the city centre, making it convenient for exploring. The wifi was excellent, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay. it was great to have parking on site, removing any concerns about finding a space.
There were a few aspects that we didn't particularly enjoy. the apartment had a lingering smell of smoke, which was uncomfortable and made it difficult to relax.

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the town. It is within easy walking distance of the center, which was great for us as we wanted to explore the area on foot. Another aspect that we really liked was the layout of the rooms. We were traveling with a group of friends, so having twin bedrooms instead of double beds was perfect for us. It gave us the privacy and space we needed. having two bathrooms was a great convenience for all of us.
One of the downsides we experienced during our stay was the water pressure in the upstairs toilet. It was quite low, which made flushing a bit difficult.

Great location and accommodation. The Sawmills in Carlisle was the perfect choice for our short break. It's conveniently located near pubs and a supermarket, making it easy to enjoy the local amenities. The house felt safe and secure in a quiet cul-de-sac. The value for money was exceptional for our group of three couples. We had no issues with mobility, although there are stairs in the property. we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend staying here.
There were a couple of minor repairs that needed attention, but they were easily fixed and didn't hamper our enjoyment of the stay. The flush in the upstairs toilet had low water pressure, and the heating in the downstairs bedroom was lacking.

The key box outside allowed for flexible check-in. it was a wonderful stay with lots of thoughtful touches and excellent value for money. I will definitely be staying here again!

The location of the hotel was convenient, especially for those who are interested in walking Hadrian's Wall. The parking outside the hotel was also appreciated by guests, as well as the availability of a key box for easy access.
Some guests had difficulty finding the hotel due to its location behind industrial units.
